Italian Government Scholarships for International Students are offered annually for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees on a merit basis. The University of Bologna and the University of Padova offer annual merit-based Bachelor’s and Master’s degree scholarships for international students as part of the University of Bologna Research Grants for International Students and the Padova International Excellence Scholarships Programme.
EDISU Piemonte Scholarships: Expired
Students, including international students from non-EU countries, enrolled in full-time bachelor’s, master’s, single-cycle master’s, or doctoral studies at one of the universities in Piedmont (i.e. Polytechnic of Torino, University of Torino, University of Eastern Piedmont) can apply for EDISU scholarships if meet the merits and economic requirements of the competition. Part-time students may apply if they are enrolled in an undergraduate course. The amount of the scholarship varies depending on many conditions. Accommodation services can also be provided to non-resident students.
Bologna University Study Grants for International Students:
The University of Bologna offers study grants to deserving international students who wish to register for the first cycle (bachelor), second cycle (master), or single cycle study programs at the University of Bologna. Each study grant is awarded for one academic year and amounts to a total of €11,059 and a full tuition fee waiver.

Tuition Fee Waivers at the University of Pavia for International Students:
In order to strengthen the presence of international students and encourage the creation of an increasingly global community, the University of Pavia is granting 150 tuition fee waivers, which provide an exemption from paying university tuition fees to all international students enrolling in selected study programs in the academic year 2022/2023.

Polytechnic de Milano Merit-Based Scholarships for International Students:
Polytechnic di Milano offers a number of merit-based scholarships each year to the most talented international candidates admitted to the Master of Science program. Students who receive a scholarship will only have to pay an administrative fee of around €200. Scholarships of between €5,000 and €10,000 per year may also be awarded in addition to the tuition fee waiver.

University Cattolica International Scholarships:
The UCSC International Scholarship is an annual tuition fee reduction promoted by the University of Cattolica to support international students access to degree programs. The discount will cover approx. 25% of the total costs.
